The simple, fair terms for working together.

These terms cover the technology help services provided by OC Tech Neighbor in Orange County, California. By booking with us, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them short and plain on purpose.
What we do
We provide patient, in-home and remote help with everyday consumer technology — phones, computers, Wi-Fi, printers, smart TVs, accounts, and more. We help you understand and use your devices and explain things clearly.
What we don’t do
We are not financial, legal, or medical advisors and do not make those decisions for you. We don’t store your passwords or handle banking passwords, and we don’t access your accounts without you present and consenting. For complex hardware repair beyond everyday help, we’ll happily point you to a trusted specialist.
Pricing & payment
- We tell you the price before any work begins — no surprises.
- Payment is due after the service is provided, unless agreed otherwise.
- Monthly plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime before the next cycle.
Scheduling & cancellations
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule. We understand life happens, and we’ll always try to be flexible.
Our satisfaction approach
We want you to feel good about every visit. If something isn’t right, tell us within a reasonable time and we’ll make it right — by coming back or hopping on a call at no extra charge for that same issue. If we still can’t get it working the way we explained it should, we’ll refund that visit. We’d rather earn your trust than keep a payment.
Your responsibilities
- Please back up anything irreplaceable before service when possible (we can help with this).
- Please be present for any work involving your accounts, and never share passwords by text or email.
Limitation of liability
We take great care, but we provide help on a reasonable-effort basis and can’t guarantee every outcome with third-party devices and services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
